In 2000, Dr. Glenn Cohen completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at Tufts Medical Center. From 1994 to 1999, Dr. Glenn Cohen fulfilled an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Los Angeles County (LAC) + University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center. Dr. Glenn Cohen accepted the position at LAC+USC upon receiving his M.D. from the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Prior to this, Dr. Glenn Cohen earned degrees in physiology and art history from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), which he attended from 1984 to 1989.

Dr. Glenn Cohen founded Glenn D. Cohen, M.D., Inc. in 2000. Based in Westlake Village, California, Dr. Glenn Cohen's independent practice offers exceptional hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow care to the Ventura County population. Though he is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Glenn Cohen finds non-operative solutions for the majority of his patients. Dr. Glenn Cohen prefers the application of therapy, splinting, injections, and other medication whenever possible. However, when surgery is necessary, Dr. Glenn Cohen is the physician that other doctors recommend.

Dr. Glenn Cohen possesses a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. Additionally, Dr. Glenn Cohen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Glenn Cohen remains a Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand as well as for the similarly named American Association for Hand Surgery, and serves as Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at USC.
